It is with great pride that I welcome you to the new website of the Spanish Ice Sports - Ice Hockey Federation.

It is not only the website that is newly improved in the world of Spanish Ice Hockey. With a new organization that is now a separate entity from the Winter Sports Federation in Spain, and a new vision for the future of the game, great things are truly in store for the game of ice hockey in Spain.

For me it is heartening to see Spain take the next steps in establishing itself on the international ice hockey stage. Since its reorganization, the country has hosted several events and development camps all to help the sport continue to grow. It is already obvious in the huge just in registration numbers that the efforts in Spain are paying off, in just one season the number of registered players nearly quadrupled and the number of Ice Arenas is growing tremendously—now that’s what I call evidence of success.

This website is another show of dedication and growth by the Spanish Federation. What has been accomplished in the nation of Spain in the last year is truly extraordinary. As you will see when looking through this website, the future of ice hockey in Spain knows no limits.
